The Lammermuir Hills are a range of rolling hills creating a border between the Scottish Borders and the Lothians. The hills extend from the Gala Water near Galashiels to St Abb's Head. The Whiteadder Water flows through the hills passing through Abbey St Bathans before reaching Chirnside.
The hills are crossed by the The Southern Upland Way and are popular with walkers and hikers. The river valleys and hills create the perfect haven to escape and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.
Below are the places in the hills that we have visited. We hope you enjoy them. You can view All Places or the individual ones below.
Abbey St Bathans | Edin's Hall Broch | Longformacus |
Watch Water Reservoir | Whiteadder Reservoir |
Below are the walks we have undertaken which will take between 30 minutes to 1hr 30 minutes. I have also added some links to other walks in the hills.
