Short Walks in the Scottish Borders

The beautiful rugged countryside of the Scottish Borders provide a wonderful and often dramatic backdrop to many country or riverside walks. From the rolling hills to woodland and river valleys many hours can be enjoyed exploring, peaceful villages, magnificent Abbeys and strolling by tranquil waters.

Below are some of some of our favourite walks. I have added some of our photographs taken along the way.  You can view All Walks or any of the individual walks listed below. I have also added some links to view other walks.

Don't forget to wear a good pair of walking boots and take some water with you. All the timings are approximate and will depend on each individual. I  hope you enjoy this selection of walks.
