River Till |
The River Till is a small peaceful tributary of the River Tweed, rising on Comb Fell in the Cheviot Hills and joining the River Tweed near Cornhill-on-Tweed. It also has a number of its own tributaries, including Wooler Water, River Glen, Hutton burn and Lilburn Burn.
On its journey to the Tweed the river gently flows through a number of villages. At Etal the river attracts picnickers and walkers before continuing its journey under Twizel Bridge and past Twizel Castle before joining the River Tweed.
