The county of Fife is situated on the East Coast of Scotland between the Firth of Tay and the Firth of Forth. The historic county was an important royal and political centre from the reign on Malcolm II onwards. This ancient county is home to numerous, castles, abbeys and museums and boats some fabulous coastline and quaint fishing villages.
