Whitsome

 

Whtsome is a small village in the Scotish Borders. It situated on the B6437 not far from the village of Swinton. Whitsome is a rural village surrounded by beautiful countryside and farms. It is thought that the village has a long and torrid history dating back to at least Roman times. The village name comes from Old English meaning "at the white houses". Whitsome has a small village shop and post office.
