Blackadder Water

Blackadder Water

The Blackadder Water rises in the Harecleugh Forest Plantation, north of the village of Westruther. Before reaching Greenlaw the river is joined by the Wedderlie, Edgar and Fangrist Burns. As the river meanders through the countryside it is joined by the Langton Burn before flowing under the Kimmerghame, Mouth and Kelloe Bridges. As the river reaches Allanton it becomes a tributary of the Whiteadder Water.
