North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire, the largest county in England is bordered by the North Sea to the East and the counties of South Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and County Durham. Around 40% of the county is covered by National Parks. This beautiful county contains the majority of the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. The rolling hills and moors, crags, caves, valleys, dales, dramatic coastline, picturesque market towns, historic cities and stone villages make North Yorkshire a popular destination for visitors.

Below are the places that we have visited, including some of of our photographs. You can view All Places or any of the individual places listed below. I have also added some links to other websites. I hope you enjoy visiting them as much as we have.
