Friston Forest is a beech forest in East Sussex within the South Downs National Park and on the edge of the Seven Sisters Country Park.  The Forest is close to Cuckmere Haven with wonderful views of the Cuckmere River and the sweeping South Downs. The Friston Forest can be accessed near to the visitor centre at Exceat and can be reached by car or by bus. 

The forest is the ideal place for all the family to spend an enjoyable day either walking, cycling or enjoying the fabulous views. The forest is within walking distance of the fabulous chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters and the popular South Downs Way. Tucked away at he edge of the forest is the ancient and picturesque village of West Dean.
